Suzanne was born and bred in Durbanville, in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. She graduated from Stellenbosch/UWC and qualified as a dentist in 2007. She decided to take a leap of faith and applied for a post in Nelspruit, very far from home. She completed her community service year at Rob Ferreira Hospital in 2008 and met her (now) husband, who also did his Community Service at the hospital as a medical doctor in the Ophthalmology department. They were married in 2010 and after almost 10 years of marriage, Edrich and Suzanne are happily married and have been blessed with three beautiful children, amazing grace and a lot less sleep.
Suzanne worked at a private practice in Nelspruit and completed a post-graduate certificate course in Implantology as well as a Botox and fillers course at Pretoria during this time. In 2013, the Engelbrechts moved back to Cape Town for Suzanne’s husband to specialise in Ophthalmology at Tygerberg Hospital. Fast forward to 2017; 4.5 years later, they are back in the Lowveld for its idyllic weather and relaxed lifestyle. She is passionate about dentistry and her family. Her aim is to change the misconception some people have about dentists, she strives to create a relaxed and happy atmosphere, she loves chatting, laughing and she is an absolute perfectionistic dentist. You will not leave her surgery unless you are cared for, pain-free, checked, double-checked and beautiful. She has many interests including aesthetics such as prosthetics (crown and bridge work), Botox, teeth whitening, root canals, fillings, implant dentistry and paediatric dentistry. She is a family dentist who will be able to treat the whole family. She looks forward to meeting you at her practice.

A smile can tell so much about a person. And a beautiful smile and a healthy mouth will not only bring happiness to the person but will also boost their confidence. Which is why I love doing dentistry. I received my degree in Dentistry from the university University of Stellenbosch in 2003, where after I moved back home to Nelspruit to complete my Internship at Rob Ferreira hospitalHospital. It was during this year that I met my wonderful husband. And since then were blesseds with twin boys. The year at Rob Ferreira Hospital gave me the confidence to move into private practice. Where I worked for 12 years under a brilliant mentor, who helped me refined my skills and introduce me to new fields of Dentistry. During this time, I have travelled to Italy for a
course in Laser dentistry, completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics from the University of Pretoria, as well as a 2-year Postgraduate Certificate from America in Orthodontics. I also completed a 2-year Postgraduate Certificate course in Implantology through the University of Pretoria. My greatest reward is to see a patient smile when they leave my surgery.
